Adult Basic Education classes are for people 18 or older, no enrolled in another school program.

Keene Public Library - Homework Help
The library staff can help students with their homework. The Youth Department librarians can offer assistance and there are often trained volunteers here to lend a hand as well. Read here for more info.
If you can't make it to the library, students can also connect to a real live tutor from your home. Live homework help is available for 4th - 12th grade and college introduction level students. This program connects students to a real live tutor. Students can receive help in math, science, social studies or English everyday of the week from 3 until 10 PM. Help in Spanish is available Sunday through Thursday from 3 until 10 PM.

WHAT is Reach Out?
4 hours of activity -based respite every month
Any child AGE 6 to 14 with a developmental disability chronic health condition or acquired brain injury and his/her siblings (age 6 to14) can attend Reach Out and join the fun.
WHAT Activities are offered?
Groups will be formed according to age and/or interests: Arts & Crafts, Group Games, Music & Movement, Movies & Theme Parties.
WHERE will Reach Out be held?
LifeArt Community Resource Center at 25 Roxbury Street, Keene NH.
HOW much does Reach Out cost?
The charge for each event (4 hours) is $5.00 per child. It is very important for caregivers to return on time to pick up children. Those who return late will be charged $5.00 every 15 minutes after the designated end time, which must be paid to the staff person who remained after hours.
Families must reserve a space for each Reach Out opportunity. Space is limited to 15 children.Please call Rita at 352-1304 to make your reservations.
WHAT if my child has difficulty with separation or behaviors?Staff will provide supportive, respectful care. They will follow your direction as to best approaches to soothe your child and will be clear about your instructions as to when and if to contact you. Staff has the authority to ask that any child be removed if behavior is unacceptable and disruptive.

Phoenix House
SASY Program (Self-Assessment Saturdays for Youth) is an eight-hour outpatient course at the Phoenix House Keene Center. The course serves youth ages 13 to 21 who have violated school and legal drinking regulations or have been experimenting with alcohol and other drugs.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an alcohol and other drug outpatient treatment program that meets three times a week for group sessions. Individual and family sessions are scheduled separately. Participants live at home and can continue with work or school while participating in treatment.
